The Radford Family

The Radford Family

The Radford Family are Britain’s biggest family with 22 children and 6 grandchildren to date. Mum Sue and Dad Noel were both adopted as babies and met as children.

Childhood sweethearts, they married when Sue was 17 and Noel 21 and together they own a former care home in Morecambe where they have raised 22 children as well as owning a bakery formerly known as Faraday’s in Heysham that they acquired in 1999. The family business has evolved and is now known as the Radford Pie Company that Noel runs with two of his children Chloe and Jack.

The Radford family first appeared on television in the 2012 C4 documentary special 15 Kids and Counting. Subsequent annual episodes focused on updates from the last year in the Radford household as the nation watched the family grow from 15 children to 18. As the family has continued to welcome another 4 additions, C5 commissioned a 4-part series 22 Kids and Counting following the daily lives of the much-loved family. The series proved to be a huge hit for C5 and a second series is now in production with double the number of episodes – an 8-part series is expected to transmit later this year.

Alongside their TV series the family document their daily lives across their Instagram, Facebook, You Tube and now Tik Tok accounts with daily updates and weekly vlogs, there is a huge amount of love and interest in the hard-working family, particularly in how Mum Sue runs such a busy household and Dad Noel runs the family business.

Their social channels have grown exponentially and are highly engaged all year round. Sue has partnered with some of the UK’s biggest household brands from Tesco, Persil and Fairy to theme parks such as Alton Towers.
